All sources of energy are useful, its one against all the others or all the others against one, which is more ignorant left and right wing politics, counter productive.
ArtiZen No one is saying one against all the others and vice versa. And NO ONE here, other than you, said any of this is political. It’s not. It’s a matter of facts and science and what’s clean and what’s not and what we need now in order to sustainably provide for the planet’s population growths and increasing life-expectancy. Fossil fuels have had a great 100-year old run. But, well, they’ve had a 100-year old run. And while the world continues to push forward full bore ahead and embrace renewables (hell, even Saudi Arabia for chrissakes have just build the world’s largest solar farm and announced plans for a mega-city powered completely by renewables…yes, SAUDI ARABIA!!!), we will soon find ourselves stuck in that past all by ourselves if we don’t take charge now. The demands for fossil fuels have been dying since the 70s, and exponentially since the early 2000s. Ignoring those numbers is just purely irresponsible. And if we do, we’re positioning ourselves to be the ones playing catch-up.

Energy saves the world
Please explain the 6 mass extinctions, that happed millions of years before human beings or what is known today as human industry and pollution..Man is not going to save the planet, climate change is as natural as human aging and death, which cannot change or end..The planet ages just like the human cells and eventually the cells die, perhaps a new earth will evolve, with new life, after the next mass extinctions thats coming and cannot be stopped with science.
Entropy cannot be slowed but not stopped, fear of death, the unknown fueled the creation of religion and superstition, now you have fear fueling climate science, selling a form of salvation for man, for the planet, fear makes for a poor companion, fueling all kinds of irrational behavior, while selling false hope..
