Welsh renewables developer Marine Power Systems (MPS) has taken the plunge with its first wave energy device, delivering a prototype WaveSub generator to Cornwall this weekend to begin its first phase of sub-sea testing.
MPS unveiled its WaveSub prototype – which is a quarter-scale version of the planned final generator – at Pembrokeshire dock in Wales on Friday before towing it to the FaBTest wave energy research site in Cornwall where it will be put through its paces in a range of weather conditions to assess its performance…”
