Very much doubt that will happen all , any tech companies that produce products for anything will charge way too much for this kind of thing so it won’t help the poorest parts of the world as i and many others say there’s no profit in making the world a safer place

I didn’t say it’s a bad thing , it’s the human counterpart that are the fault with only wanting profit over a cure or improvement

casper johnston if that were true, then why create something like this that’s meant to feed masses to begin with? and you might want to start paying attention to what they’re doing at singularity university, in which they’re incubating ideas like this and the criteria to get accepted into their program is to submit ideas that will affect 1 billion people in positive ways. it was founded by ray kurzweil, the head of engineering at google. i think the first industrial revolution was exactly as you say, profit over all. but i think this second one we see ourselves creating, is very different. it’s now meant to solve the problems that the first one created.
Like i said all companies worry about is profit nothing else, biggest example is pharmacy companies and cures for cancer
