“the most appealing things about autonomous vehicles is their capacity to make our roads a safer place” Totally agree, but the big problem here is that they make a mistake on the autonomous levels, Tesla’s autopilot is only AV level 2 which is more of a danger on roads, it becomes safe on highway where the accident level is very low, but even with that Tesla managed to kill one person…
We could talk about safety when it will be level5, but for the moment Tesla is just talking about it as there is no data showing that they are actually doing it…
What if the drivers go on trial and error is mistaken only on the technology but not the safety regulations against a driver who understands the case trial robotic eyes maybe to blame instead
