]]>I need an escape The robots will allow us to spend more time with our families, spend more time pursuing our hobbies, spend more time starting businesses, spend more time building the community, spend more time doing charity work, spend more time doing all the things we actually care about…the things that actually make life worth living. As far as income, research universal basic income, which is now being flirted with in several counties in the U.S., provinces in Canada, as well as countries around the world. Tax the robots, and distribute the income, a solution that Bill Gates and Elon Musk have already proposed. Everyone wins. The company owners don’t have to pay humans, so they save, and instead they pay a tax to use robots instead. Not to mention the price of food is going down, the price of construction for housing (thanks to 3D printing) is going down, the price of medicines and to keep us alive is going down, so overall, the more the robots do, the lower the cost of living gets. Reframe what the movies and books have conditioned you to believe, and you’ll start to see how amazing this can all be. I mean, who the fuck wants to flip pizzas anyway?
