two sides to every story, and i find the second side to this one actually quite exciting, which they get into in the second half of the post. if automation can take over some of the work, it can empower our minds to design and create instead. when we are free to design and create, the machines can make those designs and creations happen.

shonie Hutter I won’t lie, many aspects of it terrify me as well. But since there’s really nothing I can do to stop it, I have to search for the positives, and those lie in the fact that if our hands and bodies and time are free from what may soon be considered menial tasks, then it’ll give our minds and time to create and design the world in which all these amazing things can come to fruition. Those tools and opportunities are becoming increasingly available, and in my opinion, often times, those who are stuck in situations where they don’t have the time and opportunities to create are the ones with some of the best ideas on what humanity really needs, so if they had an opportunity to actually make those ideas real, that can have profound effects on society and culture and progress as a whole! Or, at least I hope…
