An interesting side development of this might be a sort of telepathy. If a device can give words to my thoughts then they can be transmitted via radio on already existing cell networks. With further development those radio projected thoughts might be turned into impulses that could be fed into my brain. By thinking your name a cell phone type call is initiated and we transfer ideas.
