There are now twice as many solar jobs as coal jobs in the US.
“Putting solar panels on rooftops and arrays is a labor-intensive process. You need people to design and manufacture the panels. Then people to market the panels to homes, businesses, and utilities. Then people to come and install them.
It all adds up to a lot of jobs. Even though solar power still provides just a fraction of America’s electricity — about 1.3 percent — the industry now employs more than 260,000 people, according to a new survey from the nonprofit Solar Foundation. And it’s growing fast: Last year, the solar industry accounted for one of every 50 new jobs nationwide…”

That is a wonderful thing, let the sunshine in. But let’s not forget West Virginia and the coal miners who are looking forward to returning to work in the newly revived Clean Coal industry.
I want to install my house for rice mill Factory use 20kva to30kva house power plese how can use me power plant
Dual pane windows cut my electric bill in half house was built in 1987 so I would look at the cost of both before I chose. My payment on the windows is covered by what I saved on Electricity. I do not think Solar will match that, But That’s just one opinion.
Train the coal miners to work in the solar industry
Pat Malone But no one wants to consider that. Instead everyone complains about how renewable energy will destroy jobs, completely ignoring and leaving out how many jobs its creating.
God forbid theres any change.
Frank Marshall Sometimes, when technology changes, jobs are lost, and jobs are made. Dont preserve old technology simply because there are jobs associated with it. Theres plenty of work for those coal miners to do in a different field. #ChangeIsHard
William Partridge I dont think it will right now. Solar is still pretty expensive, but prices are dropping very quickly as more companies are joining the competition. Try again in ~5 years and im sure that you’ll be able to get something for a reasonable price.
Conor they will come around even the idiot in the white house

Pat Malone lol hopefully
