Cool!
Earl Of Codeine why?
Earl Of Codeine Oh believe me I understand, I am absolutely not for more nuclear power until fusion is achieved. You’re referring to nuclear fission, not fusion. Fission is used in weaponry and currently in nuclear power plants. Fusion is the ‘safe’ one, who’s only byproduct is helium and has no scientific chance of meltdown. Uranium is used in fission, which is what makes it dangerous. Only hydrogen isotopes (water) are used in fusion. They are two very different things. There is not a single thing dangerous about nuclear fusion.
Earl Of Codeine I respect your opinion, but I don’t buy into that. I believe these technologies will only free us up from doing the ‘busy’ work and allow us to design and create the world that we want to live in. We will be able to spend more time with family and on hobbies and our passions, which I see as the part of human participation that is sorely lacking these days. I suppose only time will tell which direction life will take us.
Earl Of Codeine Oh no doubt, I’m a HUGE advocate for solar and wind and geothermal and clean energies. It’s one of my biggest passions. Nuclear fusion just seems to be the holy grail of unlimited clean energy with no drawbacks at all. It may not be fully possible, but they seem to be getting closer. I’m absolutely not for any more nuclear fission applications, but I’m open to fusion. But to each their own…
Earl Of Codeine I live in Northern California. We are having dams removed because of the adverse impacts on our environment. Also, I’m friends with someone who is very knowledgeable about solar and works in that industry and he will tell anyone that solar cannot solve our energy requirements alone and that clean nuclear is going to have to be part of the solution.
Hurry up please we want the futer
we want the future
