Hawaii Wants to Eliminate Fossil Fuels from All Public and Private Ground Transportation by 2045

As the mayor of Honolulu, the country’s thirteenth largest municipality, we’ve seen the impacts of climate change gradually transform our island, and with the recent devastating hurricane in Puerto Rico and the fires sweeping across California, we knew this is no longer the time for half-measures.
