Truck Drivers Can Now Control A Fleet of Vehicles From Over 3000 Miles Away
“Have you ever wanted to drive a bulldozer? What about a bulldozer that’s miles away? What about a fleet of bulldozers that are all 3000 miles (4800 km) away? It sounds like something from a far off, sci-fi future, but in truth, people are already doing this—and if you went to the 2017 Edison Awards, you could have as well…”

Autonomous has proven to malfunction, killing a driver on the road. It may prove valueble to operations like mining and road construction. Otherwise it has to go back to the drawing board, when the motoring public is involved.
]]>Tyrone Clay Coming from L.A., I would trust a robot to drive over any of the human animals. And while autonomous has had a few malfunctions, it’s not nearly at the rate as human beings malfunctions behind the wheel. As a matter of fact, even at their infancy, they’re safer than human drivers, who have statistically killed MANY more than autonomous vehicles. Not to mention, a robot can’t get drunk and behind the wheel…that alone is reason enough for me.
]]>Wasim Muklashy well put, however, we humans at this point would rather make our own decisions, over computers pgms. Until they prove to be sound.
