How Close Are We to 3D Printing Humanoid Robots?
“With every step we advance in the fields of robotics and artificial intelligence (AI), it seems we can’t help but ask, “Is this something that will bring us closer to ‘Westworld?’”

Well, they have to be able to function independently, not just be sculptures. And, sorry, but AI is not nearly as advanced as some people think.
Phoenix Chastaine Read the recent development’s concerning Deepmind and how it wrote a software program that teaches other AI self learning. The AI written program is superior to a similar one written by human programers.( It was a competitive test)
AI is progressing at a much faster rate than what the scientists working on it expected. The said as much at Davos, along with their warning about it.
John Bailey The software and the hardware are not the same thing. “advancing” and, as I meant to get across in my initial post, what people imagine are also not the same thing. I’m not saying this too kill any hope in it you may personally entertain 🙂
Phoenix Chastaine I don’t know if I am hoping for anything. I’m just reporting what is being done, now as we speak. Hardware is also vancing on all front’s. Development’s and advances science and technology is resulting in a synergistic push forward in all fields. We are getting close to a paradigm shift. A leap forward that will catch many by surprise.
