Nearly all the coal mines have closed down now in Scotland.Last year the local power station using coal that original was supplied from the mines was closed. We watched the huge chimneys being blown up shortly followed by the station itself. It seems what will fill this landmark space hasn’t been decided yet. Wind and water power is more reliable than solar here :-))
