Good job folks!
Good for them
Good. Trump should learn from this.
Good because have you seen the absolutely outrageous amount of fuel they use in their desalination plants?
Change is mandatory! The natural resources being depleted can only be replenished over TIME.
Greg Warwick We have one of those reverse osmosis desal plants in Tampa. It takes a lot of power to ram sea water through tightly packed filters. Thats one of the reasons its located next to a power plant. The other reason is it utilizes the power plants cooling water outflow. With the sun being a free source of energy, and abundant in the desert, I wonder why the Saudi’s don’t utilize it to distill the water? ( too wrapped up in selling and promoting oil?)
John Bailey You are talking about an INCREDIBLY wealthy country. It is not unusual to see Mercedes Benz abandoned in the side of the road for nothing more wrong with it than a dead battery. They can import almost anything they need, including labor from other countries.
Phoenix Chastaine I realize that. I live in an incredibly wealthy country. ( although distributed a little more fairly than in that kingdom) However, the article mention’s a renewable energy project. The Saudi’s wealth is based on a finite resource, oil. As the the world begin’s turning away from depending on oil, they will be left with a country filled with luxurious buildings, the trappings of wealth, and sand. Fresh water, and a more efficient way of obtaining would seem to be a priority. As will other alternative ways to earn money. ( much as the UAE is doing)
John Bailey Take the issue to them. There’s nothing I can do about it.
Good for them
